united states postal service employee benefits?
I want to apply for the post office in my town and i want to know how the pay and benifits are

- benefits are great since its part of the government. You get 8 weeks of paid vacation. Pay is usally solid my dad gets 22 an hour. You need like i think 20 yrs to retire but need to be like 55. Overall its a stressful job but its solid pay with solid benfits.
- Go ahead and take the test. If it you pass it you have at least 27 more hurdles to jump through. Almost all new hires start as part-time workers with few or no benefits. If you make it to regular, you will get 12 days of SL, 12 days of AL for the first 3 years and a good health care plan. The pay is decent, $16-21 to start but the work is hard and sometimes monotonous. A very clean driving record is required.
