Driving Jobs for MTA, UPS, or Fedex?

Hi. I am 20 year old college student. I live in Brooklyn, New York. I have a Class D license and will apply for CDL this summer. I love driving and want a job working for either UPS, Fedex, Ups, or even US post office. I am a great driver. Very reliable, clean license after 3 years of driving. I do have expierience delivering in a 14 ft. box van but its off the books. So I want to know how to apply and how long would it take for me to get any of these jobs. Its like there is never an opening for driving jobs. please help me out. thanks.

1. I can tell you for UPS you start as a part timer and will be loading trucks not driving to start. It is a very tough starting period and you have to stick it out, if you leave UPS your chances of rehire are slim to none. https://ups.managehr.com/index.html
