fedex express handler job transfer?

hi i was thinking of getting a job as a handler for fedex express and transfering to aircraft maintenance i have all the licenses and experience but its too tough to get picked up off the street as an A&P how long do you have to work before you can transfer and is it pretty easy to do this or is it hard process? ok but if i work as a handler or some other position usually how long would it take to get into aircraft maintenance cause im working as an a/c mechanic right now but i want into fedex bad im willing to move anywhere to get into a/c maintenance i just want a rough guess how long i would have to rough it as a handler ?

1. You can get hired on as whatever position is availible. You can check http://fedexcanadaeng.hire.com/frameset.html?page=joblist.html%3fdisplaymode%3D-1.1 If there are no positions availible for the job you are seeking you will have to be hired on as a handler until that job is availible. Its an excellent job either way you look at it. Starting handlers make anywhere from 12-16/hr depending on the area you live and place you work.
