how do i find out the tracking number for a package sent by USPS?

i ordered something on amazon.com. moviemars.com is the site that sends it to me via usps. i want to track my package on usps.com to see when my package will arrive at my doorstep. moviemars.com sent me a tracking number that says its supposed to arriva 2-4 business days after 2/12. but i wanna know exactly when

1. My understanding is that you can't - sucks doesn't it.
2. Ask the person who sent it they will have that tracking number.
3. I don't know that the Post Office will give an exact date (you know how they are, don't want to commit to anything), but UPS and FED EX will.
4. If amazon.com sent you the package with a tracking number you get that number from them. if usps is the us postal service then you go on their web site and see if your tracking # comes up. You will only be told when it was mailed and an approximate time for delivery but not a specific date and time.
