Postal Letter

Does the US postal service provide tracking information for standard shipping?

I placed an order on amazon several months ago from a seller. I never received the package and contacted the seller. The seller said he never was given tracking information. Isn't tracking information provided on all package shipped?

  1. no. not from the us postal service. only through ups or fedex. sorry.
  2. Depends, if delivery confirmation is purchased. However, I believe Amazon ships DHL@home - which is where DHL picks up the package, ships it to the nearest sorting station to the destination and the Post Office finishes the delivery - so there should be tracking info from DHL.
