What is the typical day of a mailman?

i would like to deliver mail and be a mail man i think they start them off with good salary :)

1. A "mail man" is called a "Carrier" in USPS terms. Yes, they make very good money. But, most importantly,... getting into any career position with the United States Postal Service is going to be hard. It requires taking exams, passing drug screens, criminal & background checks. Not to mention, they're not hiring career employees at the moment. But, good luck in trying anyways!
