anyone know any free web based email accounts i can get that i can access through oulook or thunderbird?

1. Nope sorry. Free email accounts make money because of the advertisements on the web page you use to check your mail. If they let you use outlook, then you wouldn't see any of the ads and they wouldn't make any money.
2. Yahoo is accessible through those email clients. You just have to enter: mail.yahoo.com for the host and fill the username and password out with your info.
3. hotmail and gmail. I access my hotmail address through thunderbird and it works great.
