web based email that lets you use subfolders?

I'm looking for a web based email account, that is free, and that lets you use subfolders. I've used yahoo for ages but it is not really suitable. It needs to be web based because I travel and don't always have the same computer, so outlook is no good. Does anyone know of a good one? Thank you! When I say subfolders I mean, say I create a folder called "friends" and then inside that folder i want to create folders for each friend. but as far as i can tell yahoo only lets you create folders on one level. if i'm wrong i'd love to know! thanks for your answers everyone :)

1. Try aol's email. http://webmail.aol.com It's web based, free and it has a 'my folders' section which you can add to.

3. Might not be exactly what your looking for, but gmail might be worth a look. With this you can 'label' your emails. for example, i have labels like 'important', 'subscriptions', 'lovefilm' etc. Then you can just click on the label title on the left an it will only show you emails with that label. Its also possible to set up automatic labelling. So you can assign a particular label to emails from certain addresses or with certain keywords..
4. and what is wrong with Yahoo mail? Usually you can access your Outlook account as webmail from another computer. Check whether your ISP supports webmail.
5. Why is Yahoo not suitable? Yahoo has subfolders!
6. You're right, Yahoo! only allows one level of folders, and no subfolders inside these. What I have is a folder for each month: 200707 200706 200705 and so on, and I file everything by date. Then I use the <Find messages> search tool when I want to find an e-mail and don't know its date. I'm sorry, I know it's not ideal, but I don't know of a service that exactly fits your requirements.
