What is that strange pop up icon?
It pops up on my browser page as I'm trying to access (clicking on a link) to bring up the write mail window on my web based email service (not a free one), when I try to run pagebuilder in geocities and when I try to use the free tech support online chat option at McAfeehelp.com. It looks like a little browser page with an orange/yellowish kind of square in the lower right hand corner of that, with a big red "X" across that orange/yellowish box. What is that'? I've tried lowering my security and privacy settings in the explorer settings. That didn't work. Went to add/remove programs and removed all toolbars. That didn't help either. Thank you for your help.

- click it ... the bar and see what it says. it might just be asking you to install an active x control or applet. if u trust the site then accept it and it will stop coming on and let u go through to your page.
- Look here.
- What you are seeing is a small widow that loads the chat program in mcafee and pagebuilder in geocities (yahoo) you need to allow pop-up windows for both those sites. Don't lower your settings. Go to Internet options - privacy - pop-up blocker settings - add the web sites *.mcafee.com and pagebuilder.yahoo.com or (*.yahoo.com) the asterisk is a wild card for any name. This will let them load properly. PS. make sure you have current java. http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
