Submitted for a postal job, but no word on taking the test yet.?
A few weeks ago I submitted my info on the post office site for a carrier job in my area. I haven't heard back yet about taking the test. Do they tell/send you the info. as to where it is right before or what? I'm not sure how the process works.

- Usually they'll send you a packet in the mail about the test, etc.
- Call them to follow up
- It takes them a long time to process everything. You will hear something back from them but it may take months. Either they will send back your packet to fill some more things out properly which they did with me twice or they will send you some information when they are offering the test. To work as a casual you don't need to take the test as it is only 2 90 day periods but to be hired full time as a PTF you will have to take it. Either way is a good step in the door. Good luck
- jut wait it depends on how long ago you applied. you will hear something from them with in 2-4 week also depends when the exam is. they will send you a packet in the mail with directions to where the test will be and the time and place also they will send an example packet of what the test is like. go to a book store and get the battery 473 test book and study your butt off!! good luck
- You will reeceive a card letting you know when, where the next Postal Exam. Do not miss it. It will be sometime for the next one, and you will have to fill out the card again to be on the list for the next exam.
