Postal Letter

I received a legitimate e-mail from client but his e-mail address is the same like mine?

i thought i knew everything about e-mails.But this one makes be aliitle bit crazy.I received a legitimate e-mail from client but his address indicated he has the same e-mail like me. But still, the body of the letter says his true name, e -mail address,date etc?

1. This can NOT be legitimate if it is showing your email address in the from header. Many spam sites use this to fool mail servers into accepting mail.
2. The Body of the email is not where the address is determined, checked the headers. Any address can be "spoofed", I have got junk mail from "myself" many times. If this was the case you would be getting their mail and they would be getting yours.
