I need to ship a small package (~ 2 pounds weight) from US to India. What is the cheapest way to send ?
USPS,UPS Ground? I heard USPS has flat rate mails option which works out cheaper. Is this valid even for international shipping to india? Can u guys suggest the most economical means that I can hope for?

- As far as I know, the USPS global priority flat rate envelope (whatever you can fit in the envelope up to 4 pounds I believe) does ship to India and it is the fastest and cheapest way to go! The flat rate envelope is 11 dollars and it usually arrives within two weeks (to Japan it is about one week). If you ship it any other way, India is considered catgory 6 and you can download the tables from http://www.usps.com/international/welcome.htm If your shipment is larger than the envelope, they also have flat rate boxes up to 20 pounds and they ship for about 37.00 to anywhere in the world. I would only use the the UPS route if the package was very large and the fedex route if I was in a hurry.
- send it by fedex

- for FEDEX Priority - $ 77.72 5 days Economy - $ 74.91 7 days for UPS Worldwide saver - $ 85.13 4 days World wide expedicted - $ 81.72 6 days
