USPS Forever stamps, How do you identify old forever stamps?

I have old stamps with no price on them, How do I find out what their value is, besides going to post office?

  2. Forever stamps are marked clearly with "Forever."
  3. As was stated, the Forever Stamp shows the word "FOREVER" instead of an actual rate marking. Currently, the Forever Stamp is worth 41¢. On May 12th, it will be worth 42¢. It will always be worth the amount necessary to send a 1 ounce letter. If you are talking about any of the other nondenominated stamps that have been issued by USPS over the years, you can use this guide to determine the value. http://pe.usps.gov/text/qsg300/Q604a.htm Other nondenominated stamps would include the A-H series as well as stamps marked as a "make up" stamp. Precanceled Stamps that show Presorted Standard, Presorted First Class or Non Profit Organization, are not for use by the general public, except under certain specific regulations.
