when shipping items sold on ebay USPS?

what kind of box can i use i ordered some free boxes from th USPS but havent received them yet i have a regular brown box can i use that since i got from a grocery store obviously the box has some writting on it do i just cover the writting or how do i do it?

1. You can use any suitable container for shipping. Like you said, the box you have must have all previous markings obliterated. It is not advisable to wrap in paper as that may tear and expose any writing on the box. Every Post Office has at least some supplies on hand at all times. You can check there to see if they happen to have the size of box you need. Just a hint, but the larger the Post Office the more selection there will be.
