Start own business in delivery contractor?

How would I go about starting a delivery contractor business. I would like to be a contractor driver and deliver auto parts to auto shops and have my own drivers

1. The first thing you want to do is to find out if there is any demand for your proposed service. I suspect most auto shops buy parts on an as needed basis from either wholesalers or new car dealers both of whom make deliveries in their own trucks. If you can offer comparable or superior service to the sellers at a favorable cost to them and an adequate profit you can build a viable business. So, if the demand is there you have to do a business plan and see if it can provide sufficient profits. Next, you have to come up with the money to buy or lease a truck and cover the costs of setting up your business. Hope this helps Jerry-the-bookkeeper
