Postal Letter

How long will the US Postal Service continue to forward mail from my old address to my new address?

How long before they stop forwarding it? Then, after that will they send my mail back to the sender?

  1. Yes they will return to sender
  2. In most cases, mail forwarding expires after one year. After that, the mail is either accidentally delivered to whomever lives at your old address, or it is returned to the sender as it is supposed to be.
  3. I think that it's 6 months. Check with the post office.
