Getting a job @ UPS, Fedex or DHL?

This is a question for those that work at UPS, Fedex or DHL. Is this the type of job that someone would have to move for and is it good enough to move for? It seems like it is. I live in Utah and right now there are no delivery jobs, but in other surrounding states there are tons.

  1. I work at UPS and each company is different. At UPS it depends what kind of job you want to do. If you want to be a delivery driver, you usually have to work part time in the morning or evening, loading delivery cars or loading semis. Very rarely can you get hired on as a full time driver without any part time experience. I don't know much about Fedex but I think their drivers are considered independent contractors, that bid on their routes and basically are responsible to get more businesses on their route shipping Fedex to get a "raise".
