my mailman drinks on the job. ?

i saw him at a friends house in uniform while on duty drinking a bear then drive away in a mail truck. what should i do? if i turn him in how can i do it without him knowing it is me?

1. Contact the post office via the suggestion box or mail. You will have to give them contact information to be interviewed but they will probably not tell him. There will be an investigation into your accusations. He may lose his job.
2. Call the post office, speak to the postmaster, and report that you saw a postal employee drink alcohol, then drive a government vehicle with license plate nnnnn. You've done your duty, now it is up to the postmaster or postal inspector to catch the guy doing it while at work. It is against postal regulations to drink while at work, or to operate a government vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
3. He had a beer, and you have a problem with that. Big deal one beer does nothing to you especially if it was a hot day. None of your young holier than though business. Just a question is this the same mailman that visits your mom? or is that just rumor. Do you have alternative motives here? Is this a set up? Just sounds a little fishy here? Have something in for this guy? You sure you saw that and are not making it up? Maybe it was a NA Beer? Lets have an investigation of the whole thing, including you, and your family, and any skeletons that might be in those closets.
