How can i find out approx how long first class mail can take?

I have to give a present on saturday and someone sent it out from california today and i live in chicago, how can i put in zip codes on usps.com and find out how long it may take?...instead of there "2-5 day" say.

1. If you know the city in CA, then google the zipcode and it will give you one. or you can use the famous CA zipcode 90210 and calculate it with yours. The usps site says 3 days for first class. It depends on what time of day they sent it too. If it was later in the day normally it will go out that next day. Good luck! Hope your package comes in time.
