Moving, When Should I Fill out USPS form to change Address?
I am moving in about one week, should I fill out the USPS Address Change/Redirection form today and set the forward date to the first day I am at my new address? Or should wait till the last day of my residence at my old address to fill out the form? Also if I do fill it out online, will it cost me anything? Thanks. I am talking about the mail (USPS) or United States Postal Service.

- It's free to fill out, you can fill it in now and have it kick in when you leave your current address, also make sure you tell your actual postman because sometimes the post office will be a little late but if your postman knows then it doubles the chance your mail won't be lost. I would not wait until the last day.
- Fill it out now, and have the mail sent now. By the time everything is changed you will be at your new place and so will your mail.
- fill it out now or else mail might not get to you. Also call all the credit card companies and change your address with them.
