What does usps do when you are not home at delivery time and its going to rain?
I got a usps package tracking email and hour ago. It says "delivered" but I do not have it. Where is my package? Should I be worrying? Could my package be with my neighbors? Or is it still at the post office?

- They sell it on EBAY
- Its not common practice, but if your carrier thinks you will be at home he/she will scan the package delivered. So just wait for it to arrive. If it doesn't I would check 2 places. The front door which is obvious and your meter box. Or side of the house.
- If it says "Delivered, that means 1 of 2 things. They left it in your mailbox or on your steps, (theyre arent supposed to leave anyone's packages) or , they gave it to a neighbor. I suggest you call the local post office. Ask for supervisor and explain the situation. We keep track of all the carriers on all the routes and based on the ID number used to scan that package, we can tell which carrier it is and have then find or tell us who they delivered the package to.
