When shipping an item out, do i get a receipt from the post office?

I'm planning to set up a shop on Soompi. When i ship and item out at the post office, will i receive a receipt from the post office saying that i shipped it?

1. You'll get a receipt saying you shipped something, but it won't include any tracking or shipment confirmation information.
2. If you pay for it there you will get a receipt. And if you pay for delivery confirmation you will get something that has a tracking number on it. You should print labels from the USPS website. You get a confirmation email that includes all tracking numbers. And you can have them send a copy to your customer too.
