do postal workers work 6 days a week?

if I get mail delivered M-Sa, then is it delivered by 1 person working 6 days a week or is it two people working part time?

2. cause they are to stupid to get an easier job, or create a business or invent stuff?

5. They work 5 days a week now.Once a week your mail is delivered by a different postie.For 5 days it standard for it to be the same person,irrespective of whether they are full or part time.And it's not good work if u can get it or not,no idea why someone told u that!
6. One of my neighbors is a mail carrier, he works six days a week.
7. I'm an Electronics Tech for the post office and I'm on the overtime list and often work six and even seven days a week. Clerks and mailhandlers (people who process and move mail internal to the big post offices) also work seven days a week if they volunteer for it. Most carriers work five to six days depending on their offices. Due to the economy it has been proposed to do away with Saturday delivery in order to save money but who knows if that will happen.
