Question for people who work at the post office?
I'm getting ready to take the postal exam 473 and i'm hoping to get a job there. I heard that they changed a few things there like they don't pay for overtime anymore and some more things like that. Can someone tell me the other things that they had changed. The more detail in your answer the better.

- My mom and dad work for the post office and they get over time a lot and they get paid time in a half. Both of my parents are permanent employees not on a temporary/contract like some employees. GOOD LUCK ON THE TEST!!!
- I don't think you should worry. There are always slightly different questions on different versions of the test, but nothing to lose sleep over. As far as general changes....there aren't any. Once you get hired you're covered by the national working agreement of your craft and that only changes because of negotiations. if you want to look at some of the contracts go to NALC.org (for Letter Carriers) and APWU.org (for Clerks, etc)
