Is it possible to send a letter from LA to Tokyo in 24 hours?

I would like to send a letter to Tokyo by FedEx. The fastest freight is one day?

1. FedEx express its amazing its a little pricy but its good and they get it there quickly
2. It would actually take about 2 or 3 days to arrive in the recipient's hands. I have had documents 1 day FedEx'ed to me from the USA and 3 days is the average time I had to wait. With the weekend included 5 days was the wait time.
3. Sure, go to the airport,find a flight going to Tokyo.Offer someone $20 to mail it when they arrive there.
4. Impossible. Flying of FEDEX cargo flight from LAX to NRT itself takes almost half day. There is always 2 to 3 hours cut-off time at the depot in advance to ship out of those courier service as scheduled. It also needs customs clearance and distribution to final destination from Narita, Japan. Customs doesn't operate only for the letter you send. After the clearance through papers, your letter will be delivered immediately if you paid extra urgent premium during daytime in Japan which is usually 2 days after you dispatched.
