How long would it take to have something sent to Chicago from Seattle?

Given the US postal service is working at a normal rate (No slower than norm to the least) How many days would you say?

1. 3 mail days. So if you mailed something today, they should get it in Chicago by Monday.
2. I believe 4 to 5 days for a letter and a couple more for a package is much more realistic. 2-3 days for Priority and one day for Express.
3. Why don't u use fed-ex or u.p.s...........over night sounds nice
