What are the best months to Mail Out advertising into the community and why?

I understand maybe December would be a rough time to mailout into the community for my business as it's Christmas and times are tough, but what are the best months I should look at when doing a mail out of a flyer? And why do you select these months? Thanks.

1. It all depends on what you are promoting. Pool installation wouldn't be good in the middle of winter around here, but landscaping would be great in the spring and school clothes ...well, you get the idea, My Dad used to sell Real Estate advertising for a Detroit newspaper and couldn't sell an inch just before Christmas and Easter.
