Why would the United States Postal Service return mail addressed to me?

Hello, Why did the Post office return my mail to the bank as Returned mail (undeliverable?)? Because of these bounces three times. I did not know the bank was trying to get in touch with me. On an account that I did not use much and was overdrawn. Now they closed my account and took penalty. Why with the correct address did the mail return to the Bank and not me? I lived all my life at same address and i'm not that old lol. Yet some mail from the same bank came today normally. What do you mean fluid? Thanks I should not had to pay for post office equipment failure to my Bank. They raised the over priced mailing rates so they should raise the delivery standards.
