Postal Letter

Is there some clause for postal workers preventing them from delivering my mail to my door?

  1. Same here. Or delivering it at all.
  2. ya if ur lion keeps biting him in the ass.
  3. yes
  4. No. However there are many reasons where delivery to your door will not happen: 1. You dog unrestrained that the postal carrier fells is a threat. 2. You live on a rural route. Mail is delivered to a box on the road. More details about your situation gets better answers.
  5. Yes, there are a number of reasons that could prevent from delivering to your door. Call the post office for a specific answer to your situation.
  6. Talk to the Postmaster, or go to the inspector service within the USPS to complain.
  7. depends on local conditions. In rural areas it would take the postman to much time if they had to deliver the mail to the doors. Most areas wouldn't want to hire more people to do that.
  8. yeah,if you live on the MOON ha ha !
  9. Would you be willing to meet him half way, oh, the GREAT ape creature of Indus? Do you have a mail box outside? If you do, they won't deliver it directly to your door. Perhaps if you removed the mail box, and installed a mail area on your front door, delivery will be possible through the slot. I am not familiar with your postal policies. Good reason to call them yourself.
  10. It is called the Bone Idol clause. The same affliction applies to civil servants local gov,t staff and Nhs staff.I refuse to call them workers.
  11. If you live in a rural area they have the choice to leave you a notice that it was undeliverable due to size and that you will have to pick it up at the post office or they can deliver it to your door, it is a matter of what they feel like doing if you have an outside mail box or live in a rural area they do not have to deliver it to your door. My mothers mail carrier just leaves a message for her then she has to go all the way to town to get her package while I received a large package as a prize for a contest that I entered and my postal carrier just left it on my front porch so that I would see it when I came out and my sisters will knock of the door and leave her a note if she isn't home telling her that he put it on her enclosed back porch. Really it is just a matter of the carriers preference.
  12. lol. well apart from what someone else suggested and your 'pets' are not 'purring' at the gate er no. Either there is no one to deliver them or incompetence has spoken again... I know what I think.
  13. They are within their rights to refuse if they believe there is a danger to themselves or the like. More info would be helpful.....
