Does priority mail box have to be the one from usps?

I'm sending a package to spain from US and will use priority international mail.(not flat rate box, nor flat rate envelope). The whole item is very small and weigh less than 1 lb. It will surly fit in 4"X4"X4" box. now, Do i have to use the prioritiy box from the post office or can i use a small brown box? Wil the shipping cost the same? Also can i use shipping label printed from ebay when shipping international mails? Thanks.

1. You can use your own box. Just be sure to black out and writing, and be sure that there are no alcohol lables showing through.
