What's the best way for me to enter a career in forensics?

I have a BS in math, and my work experience is mostly in public school education, but, for the last couple years I've been driving a delivery van. you do realize there are different fields in forensics. what if I'm interested in digital forensics? why would I need a biochemistry degree for that?

  1. Go back and get a degree in biochemistry.
  2. There are forensic financial, computer, and many other forensic areas available. Some work for the State investigative agency, some work for the coroner, and some work in labs for indivivdual agencies. Some positions require a law enforcement background too. Go to your state's web site and find out the job description and requirements for the type of forensic work you want. If your forensic interests are outside of biochemistry, there will be specific degree and experience requirements listed.
