What does "acceptance' mean for a USPS tracking order?

Does it mean that they just took it in and they're planning on shipping it or does it mean the the item was already delivered and accepted.

1. Acceptance for USPS means they aspect it to be shipped shortly and doesn't mean shipped already mean ready to be shipped shortly!! Matt
