When do USPS update tracking information?
I ordered a package from a US dealer which has allegedly made it through UK customs. The tracking page says that an 'attempted delivery' was made at 9 am this morning, but I have neither the package nor the little card thing telling me a delivery was attempted. In addition, the decorator in the hallway tells me he hasn't seen anyone but the regular UK postman today. It's now half-past four - does this mean that they tried to deliver and didn't bother leaving a note, or that the van left at 9 this morning and hasn't made it to my place yet?

- USPS packages usually come through to parcelforce once they clear customs so you can go into parcelforce's tracking area and use the USPS code. Parcelforce will then give you tracking info and hopefully a little more detail (don't forget to click the incoming international mail item) http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/track?catId=7500082 Even if it doesn't show any more detail it should give you the code being used by Parcelforce so you can ring them and query the attempted delivery. It might be worth checking if it has been left outside as parcelforce are terrible with us for leaving boxes down the side of our bins. As we run a retail business there are always tons of empty boxes by the bins so it is very easy to miss the ones they have dumped there! Hope you have some joy!
