Postal Letter

Question about USPS tracking. 10 points!?

I ordered something from ebay, and the seller shipped on the 24 *friday* I believed. Today is the 27 *monday*. When I got home I checked the tracking on the USPS site and it says Electronic Shipping Info Received. What do it mean and when will it arrive?

  1. It basically means what it says. USPS was notified to expect it for mailing. Generally this would mean a label was printed from Paypal or USPS.com. To find out when or if the item has been mailed yet they ask you contact the sender to verify. As far as when it will arrive, it depends on how they will send it, and how far away they are from you. If it's sent priorty mail, then it should arrive 'about' 2 days after it is sent. (not including Sundays). I hope that helps.
  2. The only thing we track is Express and Registered mail. We do confirm deliveries and signatures, but we do not track anything from stop to stop unless it is one of those two services. As the previous guy said, if it's priority mail it'll be there within 2-3 business days but that isn't guaranteed. Most e-bay stuff is sent priority. He is also is right in saying that what it says is exactly what it means, the electronic shipping info was received. It's been shipped. Nothing more than that.
