Should the U.S. Postal Service add kilts as a uniform option for men?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080807/ap_on_fe_st/odd_postal_kilt One postal worker is campaigning for the right to take off his pants. He wants the U.S. Postal Service to add kilts as a uniform option for men. "Unbifurcated Garments are far more comfortable and suitable to male anatomy than trousers or shorts because they don't confine the legs or cramp the male genitals the way that trousers or shorts do," he wrote. "Please open your hearts — and inseams — for an option in mail carrier comfort!"

  1. I actually really like that idea.
  2. i like that idea also
  3. no.
  4. Only if the ladies can wear skirts.
  5. Sure, if the masculine malemen oops, I mean mailmen, want to wear them then it's OK by me.
  6. Personally, I think it's a little ridiculous. Then again, I'm a woman and wouldn't understand that discomfort I suppose. I guess they should be able to wear what they want (as long as they're in uniform) but again, I think it's ridiculous
  7. No i disagree.
  8. I don't have a problem with it so long as my mail arrives on time. I don't care if they walk around in jeans and a t-shirt.
  9. I actually think kilts look really hot on men, but no, one person should not be allowed to dictate the uniform for the post office. LOL That's silly.
  10. Have you seen the legs on some of those guys? Please COVER UP!
  11. I don't have a problem with it. If it makes them happy and I still get my mail, why not?
  12. Why not? If it's comfortable for him, and others opt for it, I see no reason why not.
  13. I think that's retarded. Kilts are not an american tradition but typical american to think it is.
  14. good idea it is cool but the only bad thing is traditionally men down't wear under garmets under kilts so when a dude sits down.... all though that could be a good thing 2
  15. the only problem i see with that is their truck doors are always open and they climb down from their seat and i'm afraid all their good will be shining to the world - especially when they are driving down the road and their kilt flys' up.
  16. No because that would mock another culture. Plus it's not our culture,
  17. What's a kilt? I and think no.
  18. A STANDARDIZED kilt... YES !! I actually forced an old employer to allow me to wear MINE during very hot summer days... the ladies in the office could wear skirts... why couldn't I wear shorts OR a kilt. As a male of Scots ancestry, I have several kilts of our clan... for formal wear and general walks in the woods or moors. I am also married to a Filipinna, and enjoy wearing their traditional sarong. It is VERY comfortable in summer. ONE thing I WILL say though... I want to see the Postal workers wearing their uniforms with alittle more PRIDE !! I was DISGUSTED lately to see our local letter carrier with his shirt untucked, and unclean shorts.
