Anyone else had postal employees 'borrow' their Netflix movies?
All other mail to same destination takes 1 day. Mail from Netflix, one day. Movies returned to Netflix, sometimes take 7-15 days to get back there. No other mail ever gets delayed that long. Seems USPS employees are opening the mail, borrowing the DVDs, then returning them. i can't prove it legally, but i know it. also dvds ship first class return mail about 20 milse should take 2 days max. immediate change in processing time - that's a good one. tried to get my old incompetent post guy fired - supervisor admitted the guys mistakes, said it's almost impossible to get anyone fired at usps. nothing happend to the moron.

- If that's true and you can prove it, it's a federal offense.
- they are sent via media mail, meaning the rate is really cheap, but it is very low priority mail, but 15 days is too long
- Ohhh... that's never happened to me, but that's nasty if it's true. Take the time to report this to your postmaster. You'll be able to see an immediate change in processing time if it's true.
- That would be mail fraud. Unless you have evidence of this it is nearly hearsay and not much you can do. Possibly file a complaint with the Postmaster for your zip code might result in clearing up the problem IF something is not as it should be. I would search the next for Netflix delays and see if there is a pattern on their end which would delay you from getting your next movies as fast as you should. If that's the case you have a entirely different matter on your hands and would have to look into that matter.
- you should try there new direct to your PC plan its Great
- report the SOB
- since you probably can't check out a new DVD until the old one gets back, you need to notify Netflix when you send it and report to the post office. I do Blockbuster and they are NOT sent Media Mail because you can't do prepaid on Media Mail. One Day out, One Day back to Dallas TX. Complain to your post office or call the national number.
- Sometimes my movies DO take forever to get back to the Netflix office. I wouldn't be surprised if someone were taking them home and watching them. Oh, and the speed of postage is First Class, not Media mail.
- Ummm, yes. I actually had 2 blockbuster dvd's that went missing a few years ago. They arrived about 15 and 30 days after I had mailed them.
- If your mail is delayed in such a manner then you should contact the postal inspectors and the office of the inspector general. You Can find the links to both of these at the very bottom of the homepage at USPS.com
