USPS interview with doing anything before it?

I applied the CITY CARRIER (TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYEE) from USPS.COM/. They invited me to go interview tomo, but after I did some researches, normally people will take the 473 test before go to interview. My question just what the interview for?? even though I dont anything yet, like test, background check and drug test.. please let me know. thank you so much

1. They want to know if your a lazy person and that you love to take lots of sick leave. The perfect employee.
2. the test should get you more money but you can take it after you've been hired You will be fingerprinted drug tested and sent to training Cool job if you can get through those first few weeks
