Postal Letter

I am receiving anonymous letters in my mailbox from a neighbor. Is this a violation of postal codes?

1. Are they going through the postal service, or is he delivering them by hand? The first would not be a violation, as long as they are not threatening. The second, however, is illegal.
2. It might be a violation if the letters are not stamped. Go to the post office and ask them.
3. It is a federal offense to place a letter in someone Else's mail box it can only go though the US mail with a stamp on it. Tampering with the mail is a felony

6. It's a violation to put anything in someone's mailbox if it did not go through the post office. Mailing an anonymous letter is not illegal unless it is threatening you or a family member. How do you know it is a neighbor?

Well lets see: Have you ever gotten or seen a letter come to anyone that had no return address on it ? There is no law against it !! All the letter has to do is get to the said addressee right !?! certainly no law against that !!. Furthermore if you feel it's sTrAnGe to have come to you in that way.... You can toss it out,tear it up for that reason!?! JUST SAY IT HAD YOU WORRIED THAT SOME ANTHRAX MIGHT BE ON IT !! & you just did'nt take a chance & that's why you tore,ripped,burned it up !! But if it has a GOV. seal or stamp on it & addressed to you... you can call the post office or the law of your worries!?! Now how sure are you that it's not from a possible future lover !?! Or is that what also scares you ? ha ha ha.... It might only be some violation if you know WHO the mailings are coming from & or they bug you to get them as`much as you have !! then you can contact the law & have them bust that NuT But if it's not threatening or asking you for money often.. not much you can do !! Unless they come WAYyyy too often !!?!! Then the sender can be seen as PEST!?! & maybe be asked to stop or`else !?! G/L~!!! `'R'`r,r'r.r`',.
