What is the current U.S. postal rate?

How much is the current postal rate to mail first class mail by ground? I am mailing my Electric bill from Texas to Minnesota. I have used only the FOREVER stamp until now. All of the postage stamps I do have are books of the stamps with the amounts printed thereon. Thanks.

1. $0.42 for a letter up to one ounce.
2. You need only one Forever stamp. Thats all. If you have no Forever stamps, you can use First Class Stamps (They should say First Class on them). If you don't have those, you can use ones with numbers on them. You need 42c, so just add up the amount on the stamps. You can use ANY amount, from 1c to 42c. They can be as old, even from 1960s. They ALL work!
