What is the differance between courier service and postal service?
I was wondering because someone is purchasing something from me and they told me they are going to issue paymet via courier service. I think its the same as postal service, but I'm not quite sure. So, if anybody knows, please tell me. Thanks in advance!

- a courier is a private company or ups, airborne express etc. we deliver parts at night with courier's
- Courier service is practically the same as postal service. The only main difference is that the former is operated by private companies like Fedex while the latter is usually operated by governments.
- A courier service can be set up by any private person, but cannot put anything in mailboxes. Courier services are unregulated so be very careful because if your pal gives his money to a courier and the courier disappears his money is not insured and you re out of luck. The Postal Service is a federally regulated delivery service which has delivery and service guarantees. The USPS picks up and delivers to mailboxes at every home and business in the USA.
