How does Fedex Kinko's Document Creation Services Work?

When Kinko's create your documents, how do they know what to do? Does the business who wants the documents tell them how to put it? Or do they give them information and then Kinko's makes it themselves? Please help!

  1. Basically, the customer comes in with an idea of what they want. They draw it out, write it out, and/or explain it to the FedEx Kinko's employees. Sometimes, people come in with a hardcopy sample for reference. The FedEx Kinko's employees who are best trained for the type of document creation get to work making the document as close to the description as possible. The customer comes back a day or two later and checks out a sample of the document creation. At this point, changes can be made if the document did not come out as described. It's a pretty good system. As long as the customer gave the employee enough information to work with, any changes, if any, would be very minor. Usually after that, within 24 hours, the final product is ready. FedEx Kinko's charges by the hour for creating documents. There is no way of telling how long the document creation will take. Of course, you can imagine the more complicated something is, the more expensive it will be. There are standard document creations and deluxe document creations. Standard documents are cheaper of course. I don't know all prices off the top of my bed, but I can remember a few just to give you an idea of how much things are. I know that deluxe business form doc creations is about $100/hour. Business cards are about $50 (I think this is standard, but I could be wrong). They offer several types of document creation and you should go check out the Kinko's near you to see what they can do for you. I'm not exactly an expertise on document creation, but hope what I know helps.
