Is postal service in California hindered due to the fires?

I ordered something from Las Vegas on Oct. 26 (Friday), Nevada and I'm tracking it with US Postal Service. It said it would be here in 2-5 days. I think the fires have something to do with it, if not, what?

1. It depends on where you live but for the most part there was no delays. They arranged for people whos homes were affected by the fires to pick up there mail alternate places.
