To Be A Postal Service Mail Clerk, You Must Have 6 Years of Service?

what does that mean you must do 6 years of service to be a PS Mail clerk? i'm 16 and looking forward to be an PS mail clerk when i'm out of high school.

  1. You must have 6 years of service with the USPS in order to have JOB SECURITY. In order to be hired by the USPS, you must take the postal exam and score very high on it--100 if possible. The postal exam is not given very often, except to veterans of the military. Currently the USPS is under a hiring freeze, meaning they are not hiring.
