Do you know anything about getting a job with the post office?

I've been thinking lately of becoming a postal worker for the US Postal Service. Ideally, I would like to deliver mail, however, I don't know to much about the job other than I would have to take a civil service test. My questions are: 1.) What are their usual starting pay for that position or any position for that matter (I would be working in Ohio) 2.) I've heard in some instances, there are waiting lists to get into the Postal Service - is that really true? 3.) What exactly is on the Civil Service Test and do I take that first and then apply with the Post Office or vice versa? 4.) Have you or anyone you know worked for the postal service? If so, did they like their job? I am 25 years old

1. A majority of jobs are about 18-22 dollars an hour. Go to www.usps.com My cousin works for them and loves it. Since it is a government job they will be the same throughout all states
