Political Ideology of the Daily Mail Newspaper?

Hi, I'm trying to do a presentation on the Daily Mail, and am slightly stuck trying to understand what it's political ideology and overall mission is. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful! (I mean the Daily Mail newspaper by the way) Thankyou!

1. The Daily Mail is a well known Conservative Rag. It's known for it's broad appeal to 'Middle England'
2. its a paper that is clearly aimed 50 year old white middle class families. They headline anything that may intrude on this quaint english way. I wouldnt wipe my bum with that rag personally....
3. It's conservative, very much so. Many call it far right. It's positions leave it open to a lot of satire and mockery. During the run up to WW2 it was the only British paper to back Adolf Hitler and Oswald Mosley

7. Politically it is Conservative and is particularly directed to appeal to women. Its overall mission is to pander to Conservative, Middle Class and feminine prejudices in order to generate as much income as possible. It regularly spouts polemic (controversial argument) based on those prejudices rather than trying to take a balanced, objective and critical view of events, just, sadly, as do most UK newspapers. It is even more unfortunate since in the UK we rely on the newspapers and the broadcast media to watch out for our rights and freedoms. Instead of trying to limit the harm our politicians do every day, papers like the Mail are instead in the forefront of screaming for more law, more regulation, more quangos and hysterically shouting down anyone that dares to take any view in opposition to theirs. Today they are little more than adult comics, filled with salacious gossip and 'lifestyle' tat and carrying three pages of 'real' news at best.
