- check the BBB Better Business Bureau!!!!
- Pretty sure it was spam because they are food and supplies service.
- If you're not sure then i'd just leave it and look for another puppy, it' not worth getting spammed.
- shipping animals? lol does sound like spam dont trust it
- sounds like a scam to me. When I Googled "Cam Pet Delivery Service" it returned a pet product service, not a pet delivery service.
- i don't kow what service is that...but my brother use to work in an airport and say that the animals were not treated as well as the airline said so..not beating on them but not being gentle with the cages and eveythig...i wuld abosolutely not do that..if you care enough to buy it..care enough to go and get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Cameroon is the hotspot of doggie shipping scams. (I wouldn't even trust anything strictly in the US border. I want to SEE my dog before I hand money over.)
- IT'S A SCAM ! Don't send them any money.. If you send them any money, then you will never get your puppy. I have heard many many complaints about this scam and the soo called "Cam Air Pet delivery " on ripoffreport.com and people telling me there stories.. Don't be another victim..
- Yes, it sure sounds like a scam. Never buy a dog without seeing it first. It would be best if you had references from people you can verify that the dog has been treated well and is in good health. A dog I bought at a local pet store was cute but from a puppy mill. It quickly turned vicious and had health problems. Buy from someone you can verify. :)
- Getting a puppy. You make arrangements to go to the kennel and see the dam, sire and kennel. Is it clean or does it look like a puppymill. Are the dogs socialized. Never expect someone to ship a dog to you.
- try finding a dog locally at your local humane society or one located in a city or town near you, because if you "found a dog online" it's probably just a sCam. I can put up a picture of a dog with puppies and say that they are for sale using a phony identity online. That is the best way for people to taken to the cleaners
- It more then likely is. My daughter was scammed threw one of these. First she paid for the dog and shipping fees. Then they said she had to pay for a special carrier kennel. Then supposedly the dog was placed in quarantine and she had to pay a fee for that and shots. Then when the dog was suppose to be delivered and was not she called them and they said their delivery service had went to her home and she was not home, which was not true. Then the story changed and they said she was suppose to pick the dog up at the airport and did not so they returned the dog to the seller. She reported this to the police and they told her it was a very common scam. In the end she lost $2000. Never by a puppy unless you have seen the puppy in person and you know the seller for real. Also make sure the puppy did not come from a puppy mill, because these animals are usually in bad health.
- its a scam. In the end, they will tell you they are actually located somewhere in Africa (cambodia, nigeria, etc).. and they are offering this puppy "free" for only cost of shipping.. ussually for a really low shipping fee.. it costs around $300 to ship a dog by air from state to state, much more to ship internationally.. and more redtape to ship internationally. Pets are deliverd by regular airlines, such as Delta, Continental, etc
- Get a puppy from a local breeder or shelter or rescue league. The whole long distance sale thing has such potential for fraud - puppy mill dog, mixed breed sold as purebred, bad temperament, or there may be no dog at all. If you want a purebred, go to the akc website and find a dog show in your area. Whatever breed you are looking for, that is the best place to find a reputable breeder. best of luck.
