What are my chances of getting a USPS job if I'm invited to an orientation?

I applied for a USPS Rural Carrier position and just got an email inviting me to an orientation. What happens at these orientations, is there a lot of people there and they end up picking one person? Does it mean I have a good chance of getting the job? How does it work?
