Can the legal immigrants to get a job in the USPS?

Hello dear friends I am from Chile and i desire to know if can the legal immigrants to get a job in the United States Postal Service http://www.usps.com/ Is possible for people from different nationality to get a job in the USPS ? It is legal ? Or just the people with american nationality can to work there ? I will thank you for this interesting information A warm greetings from Chile

1. They hire anyone who is in a location where they need help and whom can either pass the requred tests, have the needed experience, or have the skills they need. Good luck with it.
2. Here is the info Citizenship Employees must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident alien (i.e., possession of a “green card”), a citizen of American Samoa or any other territory owing permanent allegiance to the United States. Individuals solely granted asylum status, refugee status or conditional permanent resident status are not eligible for Postal Service employment.
3. Sure its legal if you show a Permanent Resident Card or Proof of Citizenship. However you must have a drivers license and be able to submit to a drug test.
