I would like to know how to set up the 'e-mail client' on my computer.?
I get the message that my 'e-mail client' is not set up properly on my computer whenever I try to send an e-mail to anyone that has a link on a web site. I have Windows XP. Thanks for any info. cruisebloke

- It's probably referring to Outlook or Outlook Express. You will need to open either one up and enter your email settings which you will need to get from your ISP.
- The built-in email client on Windows is Outlook Express. Click on Tools and Accounts and check that everything is setup correctly.
- It all depends on what email client you have. If you have earthlink, cox, or something similar to those, you have to set up Microsoft Outlook for that. If you have AOL, then go to Start->All Programs->Set Program Access and Defaults. Then click Microsoft Windows and select AOL off the dropdown menu. If you give more info on what email client you have, this would be much easier to explain! ;)
- if your email provider offers pop3 and smtp email service they should also have a help page that shows you how to hookup your email client to it.
