- Sure is. You can't be fired and you get discounts on ammo and firearms.
- My father was a letter carrier in Texas for 25 years. He's retired now. And I can tell you it's not an easy job. They have strict rules, and the people they deliver too can be very rude too. But the pay and benefits are not bad if you're hired on direct. Not talking about contract here cause I don't know anything about that. But he retired making up in the $55-60K's. Which after 26 years is really not all that much. However, I can tell you that he was always a conservative spender. Growing up we never needed for anything. So if you're looking to get rich in the biz you won't. If you're looking to provide for yourself and your family you will. Side note: His pension gives him roughly what he was making when he was still working. Insane but true!
